A huge thank you to everyone who supported our Charity Auction on Saturday 23rd June at the EMN Hall, Monksilver. The total raised at the auction was a fantastic £2,240.00. This will be shared between the Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital and the EMN Community Hall. In addition, a further £93.30p was put into our donations bucket which will go directly to the hospital's MRI scanner appeal.

Charity Auction in aid of The Beacon Centre (Cancer Unit, Musgrove Park Hospital) & the EMN Community Hall - 23 June 2018, Auction starts 3pm (Doors open 2pm).
Come to the auction viewings (6 - 8pm Friday 22 June or 10 - 12am Saturday 23 June) - there are a wide variety of items for sale both old and new. We have a grandfather clock, china, ornaments and some furniture - something for everyone.
If you would like to donate a suitable item to the sale contact one of the people listed below. There is also the 50/50 Sale where you will receive half of the proceeds from the sale of your item.

Terms & Conditions
People wishing to participate in bidding for an item must pre-register (50p) and receive a bidding number which they will hold up clearly when making a bid.
The Auctioneer will call out the number of the Lot. Someone will identify it or show it to the room if possible.
The Auctioneer will start the bidding at a price at his own discretion.
By placing a bid, the Bidder has agreed to buy the Lot at the stated amount and assumes full responsibility for the item and for payment of the item at the bid price.
There is no VAT or commission fee payable on top of the bid price.
The final bid price will be declared at the fall of the Auctioneer’s hammer and the Auctioneer will call the number of the final Bidder.
Commission bids may be left at either of the viewings prior to the auction. The Auctioneer will take commission bids into account when bidding commences. Any commission bid winning a lot (which may be at a price lower than the commission bid left by the purchaser) will be informed by text message or email either during or at the end of the auction.
Purchased items must be picked up after the end of the auction or from 10 - 11 am on Sunday 24 June at the EMN Hall.
Method of Payment
There is no facility for payment by credit or debit card. Payment will be with cash, by CHAPs transfer or by cheque.
Sold as Seen
All Lots are sold as seen. We presume that the buyer has seen and examined the Lot prior to bidding for it.
The Lots are bought at the purchasers own risk.
After the fall of the hammer the goods are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Removal of Purchased Lots
It is preferred that all purchased Lots are taken away at the auction. This will be at the purchaser’s own expense and risk.
Purchased goods may be picked up from the EMN Hall from 10 - 11 am on Sunday 24 June.
